- Oversee the daily operations of the Surgical Services department, including OR and Sterile Processing.
- Provide leadership, clinical expertise, and functional direction to OR supervisors and staff.
- Ensure compliance with established professional and legal standards for perioperative practices.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to facilitate the delivery of patient care.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. MSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in Texas or compact state.
- Certifications: BLS required. CNOR certification required within one year of hire.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent acute care perioperative nursing management experience (Charge Nurse or Supervisor experience within the OR may be considered).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
