PACU Nursing Manager
Location: Round Rock, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (No Weekends)
Compensation: Starting at $125K, based on experience
Position Overview:
The PACU Nursing Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through the effective daily management of the PACU, OPS, and ENDO units. This role involves monitoring nursing care quality, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding standards to achieve superior patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and clinical excellence.
Oversee daily unit operations, admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary coordination.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and assignment to ensure optimal care.
Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Utilize feedback mechanisms to enhance patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Implement evidence-based practices for improved safety, efficiency, and patient experience.
Qualifications:
License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required).
Experience: Previous PACU Manager experience is required.
