About the Role:
As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will:
Oversee the daily operations of a high-acuity, progressive care unit, ensuring patient-centered, quality care.
Collaborate with your team to implement evidence-based practices that enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and efficiency.
Lead initiatives to elevate patient satisfaction and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs effectively.
Mentor and develop nursing staff through ongoing feedback and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (CNC, House Supervisor, or Charge RN).
5 years of total RN experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure: Current RN license (state or compact).
Certifications:
BLS certification required upon hire.
ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Unit Details:
Unit Size: 25 beds.
Support System: Collaborate with charge nurses, peer managers, and the Director of Acute Care.
Team Composition: Manage a team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs.
