Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our Medical Billing Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims in a timely manner to attorneys to ensuring timely reimbursement.
Duties:
Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
Prepare and submit claims to attorneys
Answer calls, questions and emails
Communicate with clinics in regards to compliance
Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG codes, and CPT codes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
