Position : Case Manager I-II ECI [1084]
Program : Amarillo, Texas – Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
Salary range :
Case Manager I : $40,809.60 Annually
Case Manager II : $43,305.60 Annually
Shift available : Full-time
Essential duties and responsibilities :
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- This position will work as a Case Manager I-II in the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program
- Performs service coordination and developmental services for assigned caseload
- Assists child and their family to attain outcomes developed through the IFSP, and foster family advocacy for their child through knowledge of assessing community resources
- The Case Manager I-II works under the general supervision of ECI-EIS Lead Coordinator
- Completion of work by the Case Manager I-II require originating new techniques in working with their assigned clients, establishing criteria with other team members as they develop and revise IFSP’s
- Decisions are varied but based on well-defined guidelines
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and / or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job :
Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services or early childhood intervention, which includes three hours of semester course credit in early childhood development or early childhood special educationFor Case Manager I, no experience requiredFor Case Manager II, one (1) year experience of case managementGraduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experienceForty clock hours of continuing education in early childhood development or early childhood special education completed within five years prior to employment with ECI may substitute for the three-hour semester course credit requirement in early childhood development or early childhood special educationThe content of the coursework or training must relate to the growth, development, and education of the young child and may include courses or training in : child growth and development; child psychology or child and adolescent psychology; children with special needs; or typical language developmentMust have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policyMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred qualifications to be successful in the job :
Ability to speak SpanishOne (1) year experience in human services case managementCertified Teacher (Child Development, Special Education, Family Studies), Licensed Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Early Intervention Specialist, Psychology, SociologyAt TPC, passion and meaningful work is rewarded!
