Position: Case Manager II-III Family & Youth Specialist [1403]
Program: Pampa and Amarillo, Texas – Family Support Specialist (FSS)
Salary range:
Case Manager II: $43,305.60 Annually
Case Manager III: $46,009.60 Annually
Shift available: Full-time
Essential duties and responsibilities of the Family & Youth Specialist:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Serves as a Family Support Specialist for TPC's Family and Youth Success Program (formally known as STAR Program) providing direct care to family and youth
- Direct Care position that will be responsible for screening and assessment, crisis intervention, implementing evidenced-based curriculums, family and individual skills training, and community outreach
- Will provide services in a variety of settings including home, school, and community
- Will be providing family and youth-based services in Pamppa and surrounding counties, and be willing to travel to the regional areas of the Texas Panhandle as needed
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications of the Family & Youth Specialist to be successful in the job:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience directly working with at-risk youth and families
- For Case Manager II, minimum one (1) year of experience in behavioral health case management
- For Case Manager III, minimum two (2) years of experience in behavioral health case management
- Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience, including the experience with at-risk youth and families
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
