Job Title : Campground Director

Location : Todd Mission, Texas
Job Description :
The Campground Director will oversee operations to ensure guest satisfaction while managing sales, costs, and net income. Strong leadership in hospitality or tourism is essential. Responsibilities include guest care, grounds assessment, seasonal activity planning, and collaboration with TRF.
About the Texas Renaissance Festival :
The Texas Renaissance Festival is the largest Renaissance-themed event in the U.S., attracting over half a million visitors annually. It features live entertainment, artisan works, food, and interactive characters during themed weekends from October 11 to November 30, 2025. More info is at www.texrenfest.com.
Role and Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Manage all aspects of campground operations, including staff and budgets.
Promote the campground brand and align marketing strategies.
Lead HR processes, including recruitment and training.
Create employee incentives and manage cash flow.
Oversee customer service, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Monitor for hazards and manage local advertising campaigns.
Job Qualifications :
Self-starter and team builder with hospitality experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work long hours, including weekends.
Valid drivers license and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Education and Experience :
3-5 years in Hospitality, Tourism, or Property Management.
Bachelors degree in relevant fields.
Retail experience and proficiency in software tools.
Accommodations and Working Conditions :
The Campground Manager works in every area of the campground. This could mean working outside in hot, cold, wet, windy, and humid conditions, including walking / driving from one end of the campground to another. It may also involve working inside for extended periods. The Campground Manager will deal with multiple concerns at any given time and must maintain professionalism.
Physical Requirements :
This position requires the employee to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods regularly. The employee must be able to perform various repetitive tasks and must walk, sit, stand, lift, bend, etc., to fulfill their job responsibilities. The Campground Manager is onsite at the campground and needs to be available to handle / address concerns at any time of the day, including nights and weekends.
