Job Responsibilities for the Front Desk positions:
· Checking in/Out patients
· Scanning all incoming Medical Records to EMR
· Scanning all Superbills to billing
· Insurance Verification for all providers for two weeks out.
· Prepares Charts for the next day make sure all information is updated.
· Daily Activity Close Out.
· Handle incoming calls, outgoing calls, patient callbacks
· Answering questions regarding Billing
· All incoming faxes or correspondence are sorted to the proper person after you read the information.
· Maintain Good House Keeping for your areas.
· Collect any Copays, Deductibles, and balances at the time of appointment.
· Work as a team with your peers to make the front desk successful.
· Request supplies when they are getting low.
· Inform the Practice Administrator if anything is wrong or need assistance.
· Must have good communication skills.
· Welcome the Patients with a friendly caring voice and personality.
· Must be on time
· Good Hygiene
· Wear Scrubs (designated colors)
· Assigned lunch shifts
