Overview
We are seeking a highly self-motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new leads through door knocking, cold calling, and other methods of contact. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate our product offerings to potential customers, and superb customer service. This role requires the confidence to approach homes, businesses, and interact with new people on a daily basis.
Duties
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new customers by door knocking and interacting with customers at their home or in their place of business.
- Door Knock a minimum of 50 doors per day.
- Generate 5 new leads per day.
- Conduct daily cold calls to identify and engage potential clients.
- Make a minimum of 50 cold calls per day.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, estimating, creating work orders, creating material orders to closing deals.
- Utilize CRM for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on sales activities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and insurance adjusters to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Gain knowledge of products and services to pitch to existing customers based on their needs.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and support for client accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including picking up necessary, or additional materials needed for the project, keeping customers up to date on the progress, and ensuring the project is complete on time and under budget.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of outside sales processes, principles and techniques.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, meeting with adjusters, and handling insurance claims.
- Proficiency in generating new leads without assistance.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to approach homeowners and business owners in the community with ease.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in Project Management is a plus.
