Under general supervision assists to perform routine maintenance of campus grounds.
Essential Duties Summary
- Performs maintenance on electrical as required.
- Performs electrical repair maintenance, informing supervisor of problems and issues as they develop.
- Carries out electrical repair as provided.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education
Some college or Associate degree (A.A.) and/or vocational or technical school and/or specialized training or certification.
Required Licensing/Certification
Journeyman Trade License (Electrical).
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Policies, procedures, and practices.
- Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work.
- Demonstrates general competence and growing knowledge and understanding of the overall function or discipline.
- Corrective complex electrical repair.
- MEP Systems.
- Safety guidelines.

Work Experience
Three (3) years previous electrical repair experience, including one (1) year experience in plant operations.

- Moderate to heavy physical activity.
- Prolonged standing and/or walking.
- Work a fluctuating work schedule.
