The Coordinator of Website and Digital Services is responsible for coordinating, developing, enhancing, and maintaining TSC’s websites and digital marketing tools to ensure an engaging and user-friendly experience for all audiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Web Coordinator to support the College’s digital presence across a variety of platforms.
- Web Coordinator will gather and manage content from multiple sources and publish it using the College’s content management system (CMS).
- Web Coordinator will apply best practices in usability and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance content visibility and improve the overall user experience.
- Updating the College’s Flickr accounts, maintaining the campus news website, managing digital signage across campus, creating web splash pages, and coordinating and updating podcast content.
- Help develop and manage the online presence for high-profile institutional events.
- Ensure all media content meets ADA compliance standards (e.g., captioning, transcripts), copyright regulations, and institutional branding guidelines.
- Cultivates individual relationships and partnerships that support the College’s initiatives.
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite.
- Completes duties and responsibilities in compliance with college standards, policies and guidelines.
- Uses interpersonal skills and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers, the supervisory chain, faculty, staff, students, and customers.
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored by the Texas Southmost College (TSC).
- Supports the values and institutional goals as defined in the College’s Strategic Plan.
- Working hours may include evenings, holidays or weekends depending on deadline requirements and special events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Proficiency in HTML, CMS platforms (WordPress, SideArm Sports, Maestro,Text to Bid, Hypersign), and web editing tools.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, and SEO principles.
- Understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility standards for digital content.
- Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (email marketing, CRM tools, social media integration) is a plus.
- Graphic design, video development and photography skills required to create assets for the website.
- Coordinate the daily operations, maintenance, and updates of the College’s websites using the institutional content management system (CMS), ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and functionality across all devices and browsers.
- Implement best practices in usability, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO) to improve site navigation, content structure, and visibility in search engines.
- Collaborate with departments to gather, organize, and publish timely and relevant content, including text, images, video, and multimedia assets, that align with the College’s branding and communication goals.
- Maintaining and updating TSC’s Flickr account with campus event photos and galleries
- Updating the News website with press releases and institutional announcements
- Managing content for campus digital signage
- Creating and maintaining splash pages for campaigns and events
- Coordinating and uploading content for TSC podcasts
- Develop and manage web presence for major College events, including event landing pages, promotional banners, and online registration or ticketing components.
- Produce and edit web-optimized graphics and visuals that enhance digital storytelling and user engagement, in collaboration with the marketing and communications team.
- Ensure all digital content meets ADA accessibility standards and complies with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, maintaining inclusive access for all users.
- Track website traffic and user behavior using tools such as Google Analytics to inform content strategy and improve performance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders—including marketing, academic, and administrative units—to support web-related needs and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Keep up with emerging technologies, CMS updates, and evolving digital marketing trends to propose and implement ongoing improvements.

Required Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Digital Media, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or similar roles—preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree from an accredit college or university.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
