Summary:
This position is responsible for the Balance Department support and will report to the Balance Department Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash Crankshafts
- Polish Crankshafts
- Weigh Rods and Pistons
- Visual Inspection of all components from start to finish
- Verify all components are correct for order (Identify Incorrect Items)
- Tig Welding Reluctors
- Selection of correct parts from Distribution Center
- Package and box parts
- Maintains positive working relationship with manufacturing personnel and other staff members to support a positive workplace environment.
- Responsible for implementing and enforcing industry standard safety procedures throughout the block department.
- Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Dynamic, high-energy individual with a track record as an effective communicator and uses a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Exceptional Mechanical Abilities
- Able to Tig Weld Steel
- 2 Years’ Experience using CWT Balance Equip
