Our office is growing!! We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to add to our dynamic team and help us deliver an outstanding patient experience.
As a Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the cornerstone of our patient care team, responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey. You’ll work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure that patients understand their treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities. Your role will involve coordinating appointments, managing treatment plans, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Engagement: Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Address patient inquiries and provide information about treatment plans, procedures, and financial options.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with dentists to develop and explain comprehensive treatment plans. Ensure patients understand the benefits, risks, and costs associated with their recommended treatments.
- Insurance and Financial Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and explain insurance benefits to patients. Assist with financial arrangements and payment plans, and handle over the counter collections as needed.
- Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups and consultations. Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth workflow and timely patient care.
- Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance information. Ensure compliance with all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients and the dental team, ensuring that patients’ concerns and needs are addressed promptly. Foster a positive and supportive environment to enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4 years of dental experience preferred, Dental assistants are encouraged to apply!
Skills: Self-motivated, Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and empathetic manner. Bilingual a plus!
Organization: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency: Computer savvy, Google workspace, familiar with Dentrix is a plus! (We offer training support)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Dental assisting certifications are a plus!
