We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Concierge to assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and well-functioning office environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the office space is welcoming, tidy, and conducive to productivity. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of organization, and a customer-service mindset to support staff and office operations.
Key Responsibilities:Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
- Ensure restrooms, break rooms, and common areas are clean, well-stocked, and in good working order.
- Manage trash and recycling collection, ensuring timely disposal and adherence to local waste management guidelines.
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly to the Office Manager or building management.
Facilities Support:
- Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
- Set up and break down spaces for meetings, events, or special activities as needed.
- Conduct regular checks of office equipment (printers, copiers, coffee machines, etc.) to ensure functionality and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facilities-related tasks (e.g., pest control, deep cleaning services).
Employee Support:
- Respond promptly to employee requests related to facilities or workspace adjustments.
- Monitor and address workplace hazards to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Serve as the point of contact for facilities-related inquiries and issues.
General Assistance:
- Support office initiatives, such as sustainability programs or workplace enhancement projects.
- Assist with deliveries, mail distribution, and organizing shared spaces.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facilities management, janitorial services, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 30lbs
- Proficient in basic cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
