GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The State Auditor's Office, a legislative agency that serves as the independent auditor for Texas state government, is seeking qualified individuals to intern in a temporary position from June to August 2024. Under the supervision of a Data Analyst, an intern performs work that introduces the student to entry-level data analysis work involving conducting data research, data analysis, data visualization, and reporting results to stakeholders. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while developing essential skills in data analysis and government auditing. Detailed instructions regarding specific duties are provided at the beginning of the assignment. Work is closely supervised and reviewed for accuracy throughout the internship.EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
