  • Position Overview :

    As an Optometric Assistant , you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service, and organizational skills.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
  • Assist patients with contact lenses.
  • Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures, including visual acuity tests, retinal imaging, and tonometry.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Educate patients about eye care products, procedures, and services.
  • Handle insurance verifications and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an Optometric Assistant .
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and patient-focused.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of optical terminology and procedures.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
