- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information as needed.
- Assist with coding for billing purposes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
- Collaborate with dental clinic staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Skills
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Knowledge of health information management practices and medical terminology.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Experience in medical scheduling, including appointment management systems.
- Familiarity with coding practices relevant to medical billing processes.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or dental office is preferred but not required.
