- Experience working in a fast-paced office setting in higher education (college or university).
- Highly skilled in developing, sustaining, and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including dynamic public speaking skills.
- Experience managing projects or workflows.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Office 365.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English.
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced office setting in higher education (college or university).
- Familiarity with university processes and procedures pertaining to distance learning.
- Experience with risk management.
- Proficiency with Banner 9, SAP, Gato, Logi, or similar platforms.
- Experience training others on processes and systems.
Job Description
The Program Specialist will oversee compliance for the Minors on Campus program, ensuring adherence to state, university, and TSUS policies. The Program Specialist will take over the implementation and maintain ongoing support of the Ideal-Logic system for camp registration and compliance, while also providing training to staff and faculty. Additionally, the Program Specialist will support extension studies initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and provide general administrative support to ensure the successful execution of all extension programs.
Job Duties
- Oversee compliance for daily visits, ongoing programs, and summer activities related to minors on campus. Ensure all compliance paperwork is completed and aligns with state, university, and TSUS policies.
- Communicate the overall youth program concept and compliance requirements to Program Operators.
- Assist with the implementation and provide continual support for Ideal-Logic, the software system for camp registration and compliance.
- Train staff and faculty on the use of Ideal-Logic to ensure efficient system use across all programs. Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and effectively utilizing the system.
- Support extension studies and correspondence initiatives including but not limited to the Global Career Accelerator and Acadeum.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to increase program enrollment and maximize revenue across all OXP initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including scheduling, communication with stakeholders, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and ensure the successful execution of all programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
