Position Description
Texas State University is a leading institution dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and research. Our Sustainable Thermal Energy Processes (STEP) lab focuses on developing high-efficiency-thermal desalination systems to improve water recovery from high-salinity solutions. Additionally, the lab explores thermal management for high-heat-flux electronics using nonconventional fluid.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our STEP lab. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects that leverage the performance of thermal desalination / management systems to achieve significant advancements in performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct research on the heat and mass transport in thermal desalination systems.
- Conduct research on thermal management systems through experimental and numerical approaches.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Present research outcomes at academic and industry conferences.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in related projects.
