Position Summary
The Data Integration Analyst will manage system integrations, develop ETL processes, ensure data governance and integrity, and create data visualizations. This role requires strong data analysis skills and familiarity with SQL and relational databases. The successful data and integration analyst will play a key role in ensuring our data systems are efficiently integrated, our data insights are effectively communicated, and our data assets are well-governed and accurate. The Analyst will also contribute heavily to the design of dashboards, apps, scheduled reports, alerts, and publications in our data platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Specialize in making raw data meaningful to the organization by translating it from source data systems, SQL, and online data warehouses to reporting datasets
- Design, develop, and manage data integrations between various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across the organization.
- Create, maintain, and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources; develop and maintain processing schedules for datasets and ETLs to minimize computing cost
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
- Work with SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Monitor and maintain data quality, identifying and resolving issues related to data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Identify and resolve issues related to data integration, ETL processes, and data visualization.
- Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, integration workflows, and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Assist in maintaining production, UAT, and sandbox environments.
- Understand all source reporting platforms and validate transformed data against them
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data integration, ETL development, data visualization, and data governance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights through effective data visualization.
- Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services preferred
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices preferred
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture preferred
- Certification in data integration or data analysis tools preferred
