What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant to Vice Chancellor position at Texas Tech University System?
Reports to a Vice Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System. Performs administrative and coordinative work; responsible for solutions to complex procedural and administrative issues. May supervise staff, students and volunteers.
- Manage the Vice Chancellor’s schedule through calendar management, including scheduling meetings for internal and external stakeholders and arranging travel, to effectively manage use of Vice Chancellor’s time
- Provide sophisticated administrative and operational coordination prioritizing inquiries and requests, troubleshooting conflicts with limited guidance, reviewing and processing donor correspondence, and referring to other offices/staff as needed
- Foster positive relationships with key offices such as the Chancellor’s Office, TTU System university president’s offices, and other executive offices
- Process invoices for payment, manage pre-/post-travel procurement procedures, reconcile monthly corporate card and monitor Vice Chancellor suite budgets
- Assist with the planning and execution of logistics for Texas Tech Foundation Board of Directors meetings and events
- Act on the Vice Chancellor’s behalf when appropriate and as authorized to do so by the Vice Chancellor utilizing professional maturity, diplomacy and tact

Salary : $4,186 - $10,464
