Bore Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment in various projects, including paving and horizontal drilling. The Machine Operator will be responsible for maintaining safety standards while performing their duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, Caterpillars, loaders, and water trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in horizontal drilling operations and other construction-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
• Provide support for commercial driving tasks, including operating tankers when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, with specific skills in bulldoze, loader operation, and paving preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
• Experience with water truck operations is a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
