What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHC Clerk / Receptionist position at Texas Visiting Nurse Service, Ltd?
We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with working in a fast paced environment and is efficient in completing clerical daily office duties, such as data entry, answering phone calls, as well as sorting and filing documents. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Support staff to PAS Supervisor
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Handles a caseload of clients/attendants as assigned
- Prepares and updates client records, attendant files, and notices from the billing and payroll department
- Document daily activities and track attendant absences, client's service breaks/suspensions, attendant due dates and updates documents
- Performs EVV maintenance with HHAeXchange
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing and assisting with attendant applications
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Clerk, Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree or GED
- Experience with HHAeXchange program a plus
