We are looking to add a Housekeeping Supervisor to our team. Being a successful Housekeeping Supervisor takes a blend of custodial knowledge and management capabilities. You must take personal accountability for the cleanliness of each guest room and set a good example for your team. Excellent communication skills are essential to being successful in this role as you will be working with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- Deliver linens to the laundry department
- Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and Texas Western standards.
- Train new housekeeping staff to ensure they know all components/features of our guest service guarantee and are trained to meet service standards
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replaces on housekeeping cart when needed.
- Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances
- Communicate with maintenance team regarding any maintenance requests reported by housekeeping team members
- Display a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Conduct training classes regarding safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines.
- Ensures the completion of the Housekeepers Report and communicates clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Reports appropriate guest complaints or requests to the appropriate department. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensures hotel is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage-Hour and Health laws.

- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Texas Western is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
