Position Description : This position is responsible for the leadership, financial management and oversight of the multi-disciplinary Medicare skilled nursing facility that serves the long-term care and rehabilitative needs of Arizona's Veterans / members . Ensures that the Veteran's Hoe's resources are used efficiently to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each Veterans member. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, programs, projects, policies and procedures rela1ed lo the operation of1he facility. Enforces department and facility policies and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
This position is the "face" of the Veterans' Home and works lo build collaborative and cooperative relationships with federal and state agencies, Veteran Service Organizations and other community service groups. Learns, implements and monitors Arizona Management System (AMS) methods. Utilizes AMS concepts and tools for problem-solving and continuous work / process improvements and efficiency
Skills Required :
- Managing and directing the overall activities of multiple long-term care / skmed nursing facilities / Slate Velerans Homes.
- Interpretation and application of all rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of long-term care / skilled nursing / Slate Veteran Home
- Developing policies and procedures
