Position Summary: |
Licensed Physicians of the Healing Arts (LPHA), Master’s level clinician, with a state license for providing assessment, diagnosing and treatment of behavioral health services, including crisis intervention. Position will provide clinical support consultations, as well as direct services in the form of assessments, diagnostic impressions, and evidence-based treatment for individuals interacting with MCOT or seeking services with TCC at all stages of service provision, including follow up. They provide the clinical disposition recommendations for crisis events (when fully licensed) and support the QMHP MCOT workers in their decision-making. Follows and ensures compliance and fidelity with all state and federal statues including Texas Administrative Code, as well as all contract and/or licensing requirements for the licensing counseling process in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Texoma Community Center. To conduct follow-up screening and assessments for individuals scoring in-need based on PHQ9 depression scores or discharging from local hospitals. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or Counseling required
- Two (2) years Human Services Experience required
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or addiction issues desirable
- Eligible for full LPHA licensure within 6 months of hire date
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
- Current driver’s license and vehicle for use at work
- Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist required upon hire or within 6 months of hire date.
- Licensed eligible status required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
- Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of Office Suite
- Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
- The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
