Under the supervision of a physician, provides primary health care services as a member of a health care team.
Qualifications
Current licensure as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Current licensure by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
Two to three years of medical/surgical experience in a medical/surgical setting
Analytical ability required to evaluate the condition of the patient based on data from the medical record, to develop patient care plans and initiate or change orders based on changing patient condition and/or a physician approved protocol. Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
