We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team as a independent contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, organizing, and consolidating data from our various plants, ensuring it is presented in a uniform and easy-to-understand manner for leadership. As part of this role, the Junior Data Analyst will be required to travel to our different locations and will work remotely for approximately 60% of the time.

Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and organize data from various plants and sources to support decision-making and analysis.
Standardize data formats, structures, and definitions across multiple data sets to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Perform data analysis, identify trends, and create reports to help stakeholders better understand plant performance and operational efficiency.
Communicate and collaborate with plant managers, engineers, and other team members to understand data requirements and collect necessary information.
Develop and maintain data management tools and systems to support data consolidation and analysis.
Assist in the development of dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to communicate data findings to leadership and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions used in analysis.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Stay up-to-date with emerging data management and analysis technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of the data analysis team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Must have strong critical thinking skills and be able to intuit ways to compile data.
Proficient in English as a first language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of data management, analysis, and visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
Ability to collect, organize, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel to different plant locations as needed.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
