TFE currently has HVAC Engineer positions available in Greenville, SC.
The HVAC Engineer provides the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and leadership as described below.
- Technical direction to assigned engineers (Principal level HVAC Engineers)
- Conduct construction document reviews as required
- Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
- Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards
- Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years (senior level) experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering (nuclear preferred):
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
