Job Title: Leasing Agent

Location: 4124 Blanding Blvd, Jacksinville Fl 32210

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, resourceful, and personable Leasing Agent to join our team atTG Property Management, a leading property management company. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for generating leads, handling inquiries, collecting security deposits, preparing and sending leases, and ensuring a smooth leasing process for potential tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Outreach & Follow-up:

Proactively reach out to prospective tenants through phone calls, emails, and other marketing strategies to generate interest in available rental properties. Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain follow-up communication throughout the leasing process.

  • Tenant Relations:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting potential tenants with their needs, answering questions, and conducting property tours. Build rapport and maintain positive relationships to create a welcoming leasing experience.

  • Security Deposit Collection:

Ensure timely collection of security deposits and other associated fees. Accurately process payments and maintain proper documentation for financial records.

  • Lease Preparation & Execution:

Prepare, review, and send leases for approval. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely. Assist tenants with understanding lease terms and conditions.

  • Tenant Screening:

Assist with the tenant application process, including background checks, credit reports, and references, to ensure the property is leased to qualified individuals.

  • Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, communication with tenants, and property availability. Ensure all lease files are up-to-date and properly organized.

  • Problem Solving & Resourcefulness:

Address and resolve minor issues or concerns that arise during the leasing process. Utilize creativity and resourcefulness to overcome challenges and find solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in leasing, property management, or customer service is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in property management a plus.
