What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP Specialist (CPG Industry Experince Required): $28/Hr - $30Hr position at TGG Accounting?
TGG Accounintg's client in Escondido wants to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to its established Accounting Team. Our client is in the CPG space and knowledge of how accounts payables relate to international importing of products would be a plus.
Compensation: $26/Hr - $28/Hr DOE Benefits
Schedule: 5 days on property
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, reviewing, and verifying invoices from CPG vendors for accuracy against purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Entering invoice data into accounting systems, coding expenses to appropriate cost centers
- Identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors, including price discrepancies, quantity issues, or missing documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records of vendor accounts and payment history.
- Reconciling vendor statements to ensure accurate account balances.
Qualifications:
AA in accounting or a related field is required
2 years of accounts payable experience
Accounts Payable experience in a CPG (International Products Import) is required.
