Grader (Blade) Operator
DIRECT HIRE ROLE
Responsibilities & Duties:
·Operate equipment safely and proficiently in a variety of work environments
·Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures
·Conduct equipment inspections and complete maintenance inspection reports
·Read and understand construction plans/blueprints
·Ability to maintain a safe working environment
Education, Experience & Certifications:
- Ability to operate GPS finish blade on slopes and subgrades to support high production
·2 years of operating heavy equipment
·Proven work commitment record
·Personal discipline to work in difficult conditions
·Proven commitment to Safety
Qualifications & Skills:
·Self-directed person
·Safety first approach
·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
Additional Requirements:
·Must have a valid driver license
·Ability to work outdoors on a year-round basis
