What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Accountant: $80K - $85K position at TGG Accounting?
TGG Accounting has partnered with a real estate group in The Woodlands area that is seeking to add a Property Accountant to its established team.
Position Overview:
- Full-cycle property accounting for commercial real estate properties
- Reconciliation, AP/AR, financial reporting
- Checking and approving account payable invoices
- Yardi – daily account functions
- Perform month-end close process (preparing account reconciliations, monthly financial statements for property
portfolios, etc) - Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Coordinate with external lenders for year-end audits
Must Have’s:
- 5-10 years of commercial property management accounting experience
- A Degree in Accounting
- Must have experience with Yardi or other industry-specific accounting software
- Strong analytical/organizational skills.
