Position Summary
We’re seeking a driven, construction-savvy Sales Representative to own and grow our Central Missouri territory—from Sedalia to Marshall and along the I-70 corridor. This is a high-earning, highly flexible role ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the construction world and a passion for working directly with customers from start to finish.
You'll manage the full sales lifecycle: engaging leads, quoting projects, qualifying customers, managing timelines and permitting, and supporting builds through final walk-through and payment.
Key Responsibilities
Convert inbound leads (provided) and warm leads (historical & referral-based) into closed sales
Meet with prospective customers both virtually and in-person to assess needs and site requirements
Create proposals using QSI’s internal pricing systems and 3D design tools
Qualify leads and manage customer expectations, ensuring only serious buyers progress
Maintain all CRM activity and follow-up in HubSpot within 24 hours
Collaborate with internal operations, project teams, and crews to ensure seamless delivery
Attend trade shows (e.g., Missouri State Fair – 11-day event, with comp time)
Establish local business partnerships and expand personal network in the territory

Location: You must live in Central Missouri (Sedalia to Marshall area); local knowledge and community ties are critical
Construction Know-How: You understand post-frame or building materials. Could be from construction sales, estimating, or project supervision.
Sales Acumen: You don’t have to be a traditional salesperson, but you’ve got confidence
Work Ethic: You manage your own schedule and succeed by following up, showing up, and staying driven
Project Management: You're comfortable running a job from quote to close-out, including permits, site visits, and customer relations
Tech-Friendly: You’re comfortable using HubSpot and other construction tools like 3D modeling and quoting platforms
Valid Driver’s License: Absolutely required (you’ll have a company vehicle)

Compensation:
Base Salary: $40,000/year
Commission: 2% of collected revenue per project
Projects are paid out in three installments
Once total collected sales exceed $2.5 million annually, a commission kicker and bonus structure is activated based on total sales volume

Earning Potential:
Average sales rep earns $115,000–$145,000+ annually
