About the Role
Seeking an HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations to join a growing HR team. This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, particularly in a manufacturing environment . The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for employees regarding payroll, policies, benefits, and workplace concerns while also supporting recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations : Act as a key point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.
- HR Compliance & Policies : Assist in the creation, communication, and enforcement of company policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Provide guidance on FMLA, short-term disability, medical leave, and compensation matters.
- Recruitment & Onboarding : Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, drug testing, and new hire orientation.
- Disciplinary Procedures & Investigations : Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and workplace investigations while ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of company policies.
- Payroll & Benefits Support : Address employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and policy clarifications, ensuring smooth administration through Paylocity .
- Training & Development : Support training initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and compliance with safety and workplace regulations.
