Job Description:
The Sales Operations and Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the sales operations and logistics processes. This position will be responsible for processing purchase orders, coordinating with sales and finance teams, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers and events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to streamline the supply chain.
Accurately process purchase orders ensuring all documentation is correct.
Provide support to the sales team by processing orders, handling inquiries, preparing quotes, and tracking order status.
Act as a liaison between customers and the sales team, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
Coordinate with our third-party logistics provider to ensure timely receipt, storage, and delivery of products.
Handling shipping logistics and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and customs requirements for international shipments.
Identify opportunities to streamline sales and logistics processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations.
Analyze sales and logistics data to identify trends, generate reports, and support decision-making.
Work with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
Maintain and update customer records diligently.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
Track and manage logistics for small parcel, LTL, or FTL shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate the pickup and drop-off of assets for events, pilot programs, and demonstrations.
Requirements:Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
Experience working with third-party logistics providers.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, Intuit QB SOS and other relevant software applications.
Willingness to travel occasionally to warehouses and third-party logistics provider visits.
