Job Summary:
This position has split responsibilities with 60% of the work being done as a SalesForce Database Administrator and 40% of the work as the IT Administrator. This position will ensure smooth operations of TGTHR’s SalesForce Non-Profit Cloud (NPC) and Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) and IT systems and provide technical assistance to end users. This position will ensure that all end users have appropriate access, training, and support in the SalesForce platform. Additionally, this position will act as a liaison between users and our IT service provider to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and support various technology initiatives within the organization. This position is based out of our Boulder office but provides support to 75 employees in three Boulder locations, and one north Denver location.
IT Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure contract IT work is effective and that the process for tracking external work integrates with internal practices.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies and security protocols.
- Train new hires on IT hardware and software, and ensure initial assignment of hardware and designation of software is appropriate and on time.
- Manage our cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage our password vault.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networking equipment, and cloud services.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to employees on IT best practices and use of technology resources.
- Assist with the evaluation and procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to optimize performance and reliability.
- Recommend innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and outside agencies.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in data management, including data cleansing, validation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively educate users on Salesforce.
- 3-5 years of experience in an equivalent role.
- Meticulous attention to detail and very good at troubleshooting.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time while also performing typing duties
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities.
- An ability to multi-task and quickly shift between all facets of the job.
- Strong verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to understand and respect the importance of confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a team setting.
