Description
Principal Duty
The Electrical Engineer I is an entry-level position in the TGW Controls Engineering Department. An Electrical Engineer I will utilize engineering tools and processes in the planning, design, engineering, and implementation of the controls engineering for customer orders according to scope, budget, and schedule.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Complete internal training of related engineering tools and processes.
- Verify accuracy of controls design documentation, including sensor / actuator layouts and reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings, motor lists, etc.
- Create and maintain controls engineering documentation - including sensor / actuator layouts and associated engineering and electrical installation reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings and associated reports. - on project under direction of a lead engineer.
- Cross-reference, and / or specify controls components, create TGW part numbers, and order controls components in associated software tools (Navision).
- Support the specification and clarification of controls interfaces to equipment supplied by third-parties.
- Support on-site controls installation and logistics.
