Job Summary
The accountant position is the entry role at Thaler Machine Company. Contributing to the timely completion and analysis of financial records and accounting transactions, responsibilities also include supporting payroll, general accounting, and tracking the Company's capital projects and maintaining fixed asset schedules. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, using limited judgment and initiative to fulfill tasks. other accounting related tasks will be required as needed.
Essential Functions
- Assist with the preparation of timely, accurate monthly financial statements.
- Prepare journal entries required to reflect monthly activity
- Assist with audit work papers for the annual financial audit.
- Analyze capital expenditure projects cost and maintain company fixed asset ledgers.
- Assist with accounts receivable / payable reconciliations and resolving customer / vendor issues.
- Complete monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Complete annual property tax statements.
- prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management as needed.

Almost every type of machining can be done in this location : CNC, JIG Grinding, EDM wire & RAM, CNC Grinding, CNC Lathes and mills, with 25 CNC vertical Mills 3, 4, 5- mill axis and integrated mill / lathe machining centers, CNC Machining, 50 rpm capability, Unigraphics, FeatureCam and Espirit capabilities, and a complete compliment of conventional machines.
