General Description
Design, simulate, test and qualify passive VHF, UHF and active L-, S-, and C-band antennas. This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering.

Key/Core Responsibilities
- Familiarity with Vector Network Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, basic antenna types and their electrical characteristics, anechoic chamber test set-ups, calibration, digital pattern file recording and post-processing is desirable
- Writing of documentation to support the production and airworthiness of antenna products
- Design, develop and simulate airborne Communication and Navigation antennas using RF Circuit and EM Simulation tools such as ADS and CST Microwave Design Studio software tools
- Layout P.C. Boards using Plimus Dip Trace, E-CAM 350, or other P.C.B. layout software packages
- Assist with the environmental qualification planning and testing of General and Commercial aviation antennas for FAA TSO/PMA approval
- Design and implementation of impedance matching networks, amplifiers, filters, power dividers, baluns, etc
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE, B. Eng.) or a related field
- Analog RF Circuit design and simulation
- Vector Network Analyzer experience
- Microsoft Office
- Radiation Pattern Measurement
- Good organizational skills
- Related antenna and LNA design and simulation work experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in MATLAB for mathematical modeling, data presentation, etc
