Thales is hiring an experience Telecom & IoT Sales to join our Mobility Connectivity Solutions (MCS) business in Thales will be responsible for managing the business and technology relationship with a set of assigned accounts aiming at growth. They should have the ability to handle a fast-paced business environment and work collaboratively under tight deadlines, with a range of positions and levels of authority. They should have a strong technical background and possess the qualities of excellent communication skills, organizational talents, as well as efficient, conscientious, and reliable work habits.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Promotes and sells the full MCS Consumer and IoT Products & Solutions including advanced complex solutions for potential opportunities.
- Follows eSIM standards evolutions for Consumer and IoT : SGP.02, SGP.22 and SGP.31 / 32, SGP.41 through GSMA or GSMA related forums / reports.
- Manages the overall sale process including, change requests for designed customers and an allocated US IoT region.
- Supports the definition of the sales strategy for a project or, more broadly speaking, the sales approach in relation to a specific customer, working in conjunction with the KAM / AM
- Successfully negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales in line with expectations.
- Takes in orders (sales function) through actions, ranging from pre-sales, in cooperation with the Key Account Managers (KAM) and Account Managers (AM) (for Platinum and Gold accounts) and Business Development teams up to the end stages of sales
