Job Title: Contracts, Licensing, and Registration Administrator
Job Duties:
The Construction Contracts, License and Registration Administrator (CLRA) manages the administrative aspects of construction licensing and registration for Thalle, ensuring compliance with licensing, permits, Insurance, and regulatory requirements. Their responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, coordinating with relevant authorities, and ensuring all projects adhere to applicable laws and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
License and Permit Management:
- Obtaining, renewing, and maintaining construction licenses, permits, and registrations.
Documentation:
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of project documentation, including permits, licenses, contracts, and submittals.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Coordination:
- Working with project managers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project progress.
Reporting:
- Preparing reports on project status, compliance issues, and other relevant information.
Record Keeping:
- Maintaining comprehensive records of all relevant documentation and project-related information.
Communication:
- Serving as a point of contact for inquiries related to licensing, permitting, and regulations.
Knowledge of Regulations:
- Staying up-to-date on changes in building codes, licensing requirements, and other regulations affecting the construction industry.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills:
- Essential for managing large amounts of documentation and tracking project status.
Attention to detail:
- Important for ensuring accuracy in records and compliance with regulations.
Communication skills:
- Needed to interact with various stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
Knowledge of construction industry regulations:
- A thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and licensing requirements is crucial.
Software proficiency:
- Experience with project management software and other relevant software is often required.
Specific to Thalle
- Knowledge of the federal registration process- Sam.gov, FAR Clauses, Rep’s and Certs
- State license requirements, and the testing requirements for specific licenses
- DOT registrations
- Annual Insurance updates
- Contract administration for new project awards to include bonds, insurance, and signatures
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to move freely about a construction site that at times present a demanding terrain including, but not limited to, climbing of ladders and stair towers, uneven and often wet surfaces, and slopes.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
