Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Thalle Construction Co. Inc. (“Thalle”) is seeking an Administrative Clerk. We are looking for an easy-going team player interested in joining a tightknit team that works closely together in performing administrative and accounting functions for a locally based construction company. The ideal candidate would feel comfortable and confident learning and performing the following tasks:
· High volume of data entry into accounting software and Excel.
· Assisting the Accounting Team with administrative duties such as sorting mail and scanning files.
· Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· 1-3 years’ experience with data entry preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Professionalism and Confidentiality
· Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
· Attention to detail
· Ability to self-manage work with little supervision
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
