Job Summary
tgin® is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EDI Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves managing and processing orders, reviewing incoming EDI orders for accuracy, and ensuring timely and effective communication with customers. You will be the key point of contact for retail customers, responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing updates on order status and shipping issues.
Duties / Responsibilities :
EDI & Order Processing
- Review incoming EDI orders for accuracy (e.g., quantity, price, and addresses) against purchase orders (POs).
- Manually enter non-EDI orders received via email into the ERP system.
- Verify inventory levels and adjust orders accordingly for out-of-stock items.
- Send order confirmations and notify customers of any changes or shortages.
- Generate and send order picking tickets to the 3PL for processing.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring smooth integration between internal systems and the 3PL.
- Assist customers with onboarding and setup of EDI transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices.
