Line Cook Job Description
Wage: $19/hour
Shift: Full time. 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities
- Work an individual station as a part of a team whose goal is to prepare and cook food for the Restaurant.
- Assure that the quality and quality of the food is up to the set standards.
- Personal workspace cleanliness and organization are a must to work this position at this level.
- Working with co-workers and encouraging them to do the same.
- Stay busy at all times, help others and/or ask for additional tasks.
- Realize the whole operation when completing individual tasks.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values and Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
- Kitchen experience is essential.
- Previous line cook experience is a plus but not a must.
- Good knife skills.
- Understanding of a variety of cooking techniques such as steak temperatures and cooking times.
- A willing and helpful attitude.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willing to continue education of food while on the job.
- Pass a background check.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check to drive for work.
- Be at least 16 years old.
