The HR Generalist will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, with a strong focus on recruitment, training and development, and provide day-to-day support in multiple Human Resources functions to help maintain a positive work environment and ensure our growing workforce is skilled, supported, and aligned with company goals. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism along with highly effective communication and interpersonal skills on all levels within the organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and general employment-related matters.
- Assist in employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance management processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Help develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
- Contribute to HR reporting and compliance with state and federal labor laws
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and coordinating offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines, especially for production and skilled trade roles
- Assess training needs and coordinate or deliver training programs across departments
- Maintain training records and support compliance-related training
- Collaborate with leadership to create and implement career development plans and internal advancement opportunities
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and skills development
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, fostering trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Prepare and maintain various HR documents, spreadsheets, and reports to support departmental operations, data analysis, and compliance requirements.
- Provide support to payroll processes, including the preparation and submission of required documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of HR administration or HR specialist experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices and training methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong computer proficiency, including advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, Workday, or similar systems; ability to analyze data, generate reports, and navigate digital tools with efficiency
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification Preferred
- Understand labor laws

Equipment: Usual office equipment as supplied by Company – phone, computer, copier etc., will be used on a daily basis.
Physical Activities and Safety: 10% standing, 20% walking, 70% sitting - Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including, wearing safety equipment (glasses, closed toed shoes, etc.) where and when required.
Travel: Periodic travel to the Denver and Longmont offices.
