Who are we looking for:
The SEO Consultant is responsible for executing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns through technical, on- and off-site strategies. The position will play an integral role in driving leads and bolstering online sales for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate is experienced in SEO tactics, thinks strategically, and is able to quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of the client.

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Develop strategic plans to improve website visibility and grow qualified traffic
- Perform website and competitor analysis using various SEO tools
- Research and analyze keyword strategies
- Write meta tags and effective calls-to-action
- Develop content topics and strategies designed to meet client goals
- Optimize and publish content to client sites through a variety of CMSs
- Execute link building and link profile management activities including mention monitoring and outreach
- Execute local search optimization activities including citation management, GBP optimization, and on-site GEO-targeting modifications
- Work with Creative and Development teams to implement SEO and UX best practices
- Advocate for SEO and Content Marketing Best Practices
- Analyze data from analytics tools, Search Console, crawling tools, and more
- Understand key reporting metrics and utilize reporting tools to prepare monthly client reports
- Keep abreast of the latest algorithm changes, SEO tools and techniques
- Work closely with a talented team of SEO tacticians and content creators

- Passion for Internet marketing and self-education in industry principles
- Knowledge of on-page SEO and modern tactics for success
- Knowledge of and experience executing technical on-site optimization
- Experience in executing link profile management strategies
- Experience in optimizing for local search results
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook
- Experience in Google Analytics and Search Console
- Working knowledge of HTML
- GAIQ certification a plus
- Experience in an agency setting a plus
