What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Hall Steward position at Thayer Academy?
SUMMARY:
The steward position revolves around mainly cleaning pots, pans, dishes, floors, walking refrigeration, and dry storage areas
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Washing pots, pans, and dishes, and cleaning floors throughout the kitchen.
Organizing storerooms such as walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas.
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
Removes trash and places it into designated containers.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
