Salary : $25.00 to 30.00 hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
As our Accounts Payable specialist you will :
1) Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures. Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
2) Match payments with corresponding invoices and obtain necessary approvals. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status. Resolve issues and discrepancies promptly to maintain positive vendor relationships.
3) Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation. Ensure all documents are filed accurately and in compliance with record retention policies.
4) Assist in processing employee expense reports, verifying receipts, and ensuring compliance with company expense policies.
5) Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner. Ensure invoices are complete, include necessary supporting documentation, and comply with contractual terms.
6) Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments.
7) Resolve payment discrepancies and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts in the accounting system. Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
3 Years of operations accounting experience
Required Skills :
Strong organizational and management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Ability to maintain adherence to financial reporting schedules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills :
Proficiency in Unanet or any related software
Accounts Receivable Management general knowledge.
High proficiency in Data Analysis Tools.
Familiarity with cost accounting methodologies.
