Description
Seeking a Cloud Business Analyst for a cloud solutions contract supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
The Cloud Business Analyst will help provide project coordination and some management, requirements gathering and analysis, technical advisors, system and software engineers support, and prepare program and project reporting using analytical tools and dashboards to ensure the customer experience is a success and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with teams (Program Management, Technical Advisor & Customer Advocacy, and Customer Experience) to ensure delivery dates align with customer targets and timelines.
- Support with developing and implementing operational roadmaps and plans for prioritized improvements and opportunities.
- Assist the teams managers and lead in successfully transitioning and promoting new products and services, updates, features, or capabilities for the program.
- Develop cross-team relationships and comprehensive knowledge of the products and services available to assist customers capabilities and operational needs.
- Provide analysis support to identify, define, interpret, and clarify scope and requirements regarding systems and business processes.
- Elicit and document requirements using interviews of customer/application teams and operational business personnel, document analysis (technical systems documentation and user documents), surveys, use cases, workshops, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Align customer operational needs and requirements with potential solutions that are high value.
- Provided support in creating and delivering reports and dashboards using various tools, such as Power BI and PowerApp.
- Ability to demo or support demo incremental progress of developmental efforts to the full range of stakeholders
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, IT, or a related field or 5 years of experience with an associate degree.
- Analytical Skills, Business Analysis, and Communication skills.
- Experience in Business Process analysis and documentation
- Understanding of requirements engineering in Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Business Requirements gathering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interviewing skills, including active listening and empathy.
- Experience in the IT industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of collaborative tools like Atlassian, Mural, and Slack.
- Strong customer interaction/service skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to speak in a public forum.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills; ability to interact effectively with others.
Desired
- Cloud (AWS and MAG) familiarity
- Experience with federal contracts and projects
- Experience with CMS
- Worked in SAFe Agile methodology
